I had stayed at this hotel when it first opened and it was very nice. However, it now needs a lot of work. I made reservations over 1 month in advance, for a no smoking room. When I checked in was told there was a tournament coming in and I could not get a no smoking room. When I complained was given a no smoking room for 3 nights and had to change rooms on the 4th day. 1st room was missing toilet paper roll holder, the button for the timer on switch for iron did not work, ceiling in bathroom needed to be plastered. I moved to the "whirlpool room" and could not believe it, dirty worn carpet, smelled, lipstick on washcloth. Room did not have an ironing board so it looked like someone ironed on the carpet as there was an imprint of iron on carpet. Carpet was very stained, and again the ceiling was coming down in bathroom. Tried to make coffee and no top, so the coffee went all over. I would not stay at this hotel again. It is really a shame this has gone downhill... more
