My wife and I spent Memorial Day at this B&B in the Thatcher cottage. It is approx 50+ yards away from the main house and has a nice view of the Hill Country Horizon, especially for sunsets. The room is spacious and comfortable, the Breakfasts were nice,(but only served from 8:30-9:00!) and the property very country. Lots of birds and... More

This was a very quiet and out of the way Bed and Breakfast. Our room was very clean and adequate for the 2 nights we stayed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was french toast, fruit, sausage and assorted cereals. This was all very nice except it was ony served from 8:30 to 9:00 am. If you... More

Historically we're not B&B types but we really liked Runnymede. Our suite was spacious, super clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly and inviting. Too bad the weather was not good enough to enjoy the beautiful grounds and pool area.

My husband and I stayed at Runnymede for a long overdue getaway. We had booked the Kew Garden Cottage in which we were very comfortable. The kitchenette was a nice convenience and we LOVED the hot tub. The sisters were gracious hostesses, and their breakfasts were delicious. We appreciated the sodas in the mini fridge, but bottled water which was... More

Sisters Anne and Jenny Farrar are gracious hostesses who welcome travelers like family. I appreciated the private guest cottages so that I didn't feel as if I were disturbing other guests when I watched television late at night. The accommodations are not only very comfortable, but tastefully decorated, including Chatsworth Garden, which is totally wheelchair accessible. Having a kitchenette in... More

Breakfast cooked & served up by the Farrar sisters was delicious. They are delightful hostesses, and were a wealth of information for nearby activities. Sitting in the gazebo by the pool , overlooking the... More

My sister came here for her bachelorette weekend for a for a non-traditional celebration. It was the perfect place for a relaxing, getaway weekend. The cottages were very well kept and made to feel very homey. The owners were very good about making sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The food that was prepared for us very enjoyable... More

We were with 2 couples and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the main house in a room with our own bathroom. It had all the amenities you would expect in a B&B. We got to check out the cottages, which were just as great. I would definitely go back and try a cottage. There was a pool on... More
