We stayed in room #1. I enjoyed our stay. I could not imagine a more perfect location for the center of action. I did however, have an issue with the refidgerator in my room. For those people who say that this or any B&B on main kept you up all night because of the noise well you wanted to stay on Main St. Alte Welt is a historical building and is very nicely taken care of. I have never had a bad experience with this bed and breakfast and hope all who cross it... more
Alte Welt is a great B&B to stay at if you want to be downtown where all of the shops and resturants are.I had a wonderful stay.I loved the old victorian style decorations and it had a wonderful atmosphere in there.The outside hot tub on the deck was wonderful and private.The old claw foot tub was great as well.I loved... more
My daughter and I stayed here last spring and it has taken me until now to get over it. If you want romantic, don't stay here. There must be a new owner since the two previous posts. It does have an old feel but it doesn't have to be down right depressing. There was something yellow running down the wall... more
I've stayed here many times over the last few years. It is always comfortable, clean, quiet and very convenient. I have always enjoyed it very much. more
