I traveled here when I needed a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, and found peace. The check-in is in town, and the drive to the quarry takes about 15 minutes or so. This is definitely off the beaten path, but is truly lovely. The accommodations are beautiful - I loved the rock walls in the bedroom. There is a separate living room with a small "kitchen" complete with microwave and an interesting sink. The bathroom had a deep claw foot tub, and came with handmade soaps. The basket of breakfast was delicious. I didn't try the hot tub, but I liked the fact they provided one. I also appreciated that the owners were friendly, but respected my privacy. All in all this was a great place to stay! more
