This motel is conveniently located on Main Street, within walking- or staggering, depening on the intensity of the heat- distance to the shops and restaurants. It is a fairly run-of-the-mill, nothing fancy but nothing awful place. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy and the AC worked. Okay, I had to settle for this Super 8 motel because all the other places that I checked were booked for the 4th of July weekend (booked this place nearly a month, ago). Room is rather large and the beds are comfortable. The room does have an odor to it and it seems to be something that is trying to... more

Sticky carpet, humid smelly "non-smoking" room that had the odor of cat urine. Just not the most clean place we have ever stayed, but since we were doing Night in Old Fredericksburg, we decided it was just going to be a place to get some sleep - good thing that we didn't expect much more... more
