We had visitors to town that wanted to do a Wine Tour and we all decided to spend the night at the Cotton Gin instead of driving home. The cabins are nice and big, well appointed, and comfortable. The cabins have fireplaces and they leave out the makings for Smores if you are so inclined. My wife said the one... More

The perfect weekend and the perfect place. We went up to Fredericksburg to stay at the Cotton Gin for my birthday. We arrived on Friday afternoon checked in and immediately fell in love with this place. We dressed for dinner and went early so we could enjoy the Patio and have a bottle of sparkling wine all the while enjoying... More

My husband and I just came back from a weekend getaway at the Cotton Gin Village. It is a perfect location for a getaway. We stayed at the Guadalupe cabin and I loved everything about it. We had a fire pit right outside our cabin that we used for s'mores even during these hot summer nights. Our cabin was equipped... More

My wife and I were looking for a place to get away from Dallas and all of the rush ... Fredericksburg immediately came to mind and we knew we wanted a quaint bed and breakfast cottage as our place of refuge! After doing some research on TripAdvisor, Cotton Gin Village and it's Pecos Cottage became our selection for our two-night... More

This review is for the restaurant only, as we did not stay at this particular B&B during our visit. Delicious food, great service, and knowledgeable waitstaff. Can't complain - they even brought me creme brulee for my birthday! Yummy :)

We booked a cabin (Rio Grande) at the Cotton Gin Village at the last minute without giving it much consideration, looked good on the net. We were checking in on a Sunday, even though the restaurant was closed and no one would be around, a friendly lady rang me and confirmed what to do to get the key and gave... More

Also experienced less than stellar consideration from staff upon check-in. Location was extremely noisy (backs up to a busy highway), breakfast items adequate (far from enticing) at best, and I have severe concerns about the safety of the open light fixture in the shower! The location requires driving almost three miles to get to the primary blocks of town. Keep... More

I am a very understanding person but when a simple request to support a Veteran to stay one night in a two night stay room requirement was not even for a moment considered or apologetic when telling me- I am glad I did not stay here. Customer service there is a disapointment and of course I will never recommend this... More

I took my wife to the Cotton Gin Village for a couple of days for her birthday. We stayed in the Pecos Cabin, and we had an incredible time! It was quiet, private, and we were provided with everything that we could have wanted. The fireplace in the living area, with plenty of firewood provided, made for a warm, homey... More

We were in a desperate need of a break from our hectic job/school combos in Houston, so we booked Guadalupe cabin for two nights, 30 and 31 Dec. Since one of the nights was the New Years Eve, the total bill came to $450. Though Cotton Gin Village is defintiely a nice place, I don't think it justifies $225/night. Pros:... More
