We reserved a room at the former Creekside Inn, now Inn on Barons Creek with new owners, for Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday morning, there was major flooding across the Houston area and heavy rain all the way to San Antonio. I called the Creekside and explained the situation. Creekside isn't a truly "typical" B&B experience with hosts present and breakfast served piping hot off the stove, but it is also not a traditional hotel/motel setting. Maybe my hopes were too high from reading the other reviews. Breakfast consisted of pre-packaged snacks left in a basket in our room. My husband has stayed at the Creekside Inn several times and after moving to Texas, he took my mother and me to stay again. The hosts are delightful, the food and accommodations are great. They make you feel more like family, yet pamper you as guests. Would not consider staying anywhere else. more

Creekside Inn was awsome!We went for an anniversary getaway and we were very pleased.The breakfast was great!We were welcomed,like the staff knew us.It was close to everything downtown but yet when we were at the Inn,it felt like we were at a secluded romantic area.We will be back,again. more

Creekside Inn is a great place to stay in Fredericksburg. Rooms have king-sized bed, whirlpool tub, dorm fridge and microwave, and TV & VCR. It's a great place to relax!
