It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient and the breakfasts were good, however it was not within walking distance of Main Street. We appreciated the host giving us the "inside scoop" on the best restaurants, wineries and stores. It was very clean and there was daily maid service. The atmosphere is very warm and the owners make the stay special. The property is landscaped beautifully, it is very conveniently located near shopping and restaurants...and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. The couple that owns/runs the bed and breakfast make you feel very comfortable...this is the only place I will ever stay, while in Fredercksburg. more

Lynn and Kevin were excellent host as usual. The breakfast is always awesome and fresh. She even shared her beloved french toast recipe that has stood the test of time for over 20 years at the B&B. Would recommend and will go back again. more

Das Garten Haus was such a wonderful get-away. We stayed in the Garden Cottage, and it was just like a home away from home. Our stay was very relaxing, and the breakfasts were wonderful! My husband and I decided to celebrate our first anniversary in Fredericksburg and stayed at this wonderful B&B! Kevin and Lynn are fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire weekend. The cottage is comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the comfort of Kevin's manicured garden in the back yard; it was the perfect place to relax and read. Lynn's breakfast was so tasty and filling we didn't need to eat again until dinner. We'll stay here again the next time we go to Fredericksburg. more
