I travel a lot by myself for business, but with family we make sure we get the best and lots of thanks to our friends that they recommend us Best western Inn by the bay at fulton. We don't mind spending on leisure travelling as we just want the best..But this hotel turned out to be the best in its... more

Let me start out by saying that the cheap motel down the street looked better than this one. Sure, there is lovely scenery.. of trees and bushes and these lizards sprinting from place to place... but even the cheap motels have the view of the beautiful harbor, which is the main reason to go to Rockport!! Try and get a... more

The only positive I can say about this hotel is that the staff was friendly. The rooms were ok, a little on the outdated side...but the biggest complaint and the reason we will not stay there again iwas the beds. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. I think sleeping on the floor would have been better. We initially reserved the room... more

We are here now, 3/9/2009. My wife is allergic to mold and the first room we were assigned was so thick with mold spores I could detect them. We went to the desk and they were very good and changed rooms for us and upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost. Even so, this is a tired old... more

What an incredible place to stay!! Sometimes booking online and looking at pictures can be a little iffy! Reading reviews, some folks love a place and others hate it, but my thought is, we just need a place to sleep. The price was more than reasonable so we took a chance. We needed two queen beds. What we got was... more

I spent couple of nights with the family during December 2008. We stayed in a suite with kitchenette which was well stocked. The queen sofa sleeper came in handy for the kids. It was a good bargain for the price. The hotel does need some repairs, new paint and new appliances. The tropical landscaping gives a unique character to this... more

My family and friends have been staying here since 2001. This is not a"cookie cutter" hotel. We stayed in the courtyard area and enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, The rooms are spacious and very clean, the staff and manager, are very very helpful and courteous, they have a wonderful "Full Hot" breakfast(the cook is so sweet and very patient with children),... more

We recently returned from a visit to the Rockport-Fulton area. We had booked two nights at Best Western Inn by the Bay on the recommendation of a friend. We were not impressed from the very beginning. The curtains were falling off of the rods, the deadbolt looked like someone had tried to break in to the room and had been... more
