Bad from the moment of checked in. The place smelled old. Service at the front desk was terrible!!! The place needs a GOOD CLEANING!!! Overall it was ok, it was fairly clean, no bugs (which is a plus) it is an older place and it shows but for the price it was good. I would stay there again.

This Travelodge is showing its age, however the location and price make it an excellent value! It's only a half block off the Seawall, and is centrally located among Galveston's many attractions. The low price even includes a simple, free breakfast. Be aware - this is both a pet friendly and non-smoking hotel.
