Short answer; it was so abysmal that we left only 6 hours after arriving and found another hotel. Long answer with all the details: First some people reported having trouble finding the hotel. My husband and I stayed one night at the Georgetown LaQuinta and while we're always a bit nervous booking a motel we've never seen, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large, clean and comfortable and we always appreciate pet-friendly motels! The check-in process was smooth and quick and the area seemed safe and quiet. This is a great highway... more

OVERVIEW: as with all of my reviews, I rate the property to similar area facilities not class of hotel in one area vs. same class in another area. Located along the Interstate just north of downtown Georgetown, it is an approximate 5-minute drive to downtown or the College. We checked in to the La Quinta in Georgetown TX on July 1st for a four night stay and left after the second night.
