After missing a connection on the last flight of the night, I was on my own for hotel accomodations at IAH (the new reality of air travel if it's "weather" that causes you to miss your connection). The "distressed passenger" rates that Continental's service was willing to find me seemed pricey for Houston, which usually has reasonable hotel prices. So... more

Spent 4 nights, including week-end, at OTC time. Location is very convenient, BUT unfortunately extremely close to the highway, therefore quite noisy, especially the (nice) swimming pool. Choice at the restaurant is rather limited. Also a rather noisy place with constant music or/and TV. So called 'continental' breakfast at VIP lounge equivalent to an American buffet in Europe, since it... more

After reading the previous reviewers, I had a few concerns about this hotel. But I'm really glad they didn't deter me from staying here. The hotel is average for a Marriott, but it's still a decent Marriott and the price isn’t too bad. First, I should note that I was on business travel in the area, not tourist travel. Also,... more

I thought I'd written a lengthy review (complaint) about this hotel but I see it's not here. Don't order the room service late at night and if you do (and they don't bring it....and don't really care or apologize for that), make SURE they don't charge you for the food THEY DIDN'T bring!!! There are so many rip-offs about this... more

Some very good, the bed is awesome, the inroom coffee was the best I've ever had in a hotel. The service of one individual, Cornelius Lynch was exceptional, he helped me connect to the internet which took 1/2 hour. The Bad, No free internet in your room (in certain parts of the lobby its free). Local calls are $1.25 each????... more

I got routed here when I missed a plane connection in Houston through no fault of my own. So, the airline foot the bill. Every employee I encountered was cordial and professional. Each went out of way to make me feel like an honored guest- from the shuttle driver, the bellhop, the front desk staff and the restaurant hostess who... more

I'm writing this review while in the room so this will be quite accurate and timely. The first thing I noticed when I pulled up was the hooker in the lobby! Sitting there with all her assets hanging out and a cell phone in her lap. The second thing I noticed was the chipped paint on the walls and room... more

I have stayed here about 6 times. I usually get it on priceline bidding between $27 and $45 depending on availability. It is a super value on a quality hotel at motel 6 pricing. It is true that the area is ghetto. Just don't be stupid. Park close to entrance. Also don't hang out in the parking lot late at... more

If you’re reading this and considering staying at this hotel, stop now. Find another hotel immediately. You will thank me after your trip to Houston for this advice. Let me explain. First, this hotel is in one of the worst crime areas of Houston. Every three or four hours every evening (no exaggeration) there are police or ambulance sirens racing... more

This is a solid hotel near the airport. It has good amenities in the form of pool, workout room, hot tub, a nice sports bar with pool tables and a reasonable location if you need to be near the Bush Intercontinental Airport. The hotel wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular nor was it really up to the normal Marriott standards.... more
