We booked a total of five rooms amongst family and friends, for a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday stay. We picked this hotel due to its convenience between the two bowling convention sites that some of our group was participating in and also, for the Marriot name. Upon our arrival, fast check in was noted, the hotel had an open lobby... more

While the beds were comfortable, that was the onlything at the Marriott Houston Hobby that was condusive to sleep. The room doors were not well-insulated and all encircled the main room below. Therefore, noise from a wedding reception (including the base thumping) echoed into our room until around 2am. Then, starting around 6am, squealing little girls in a beauty-talent contest... more

Stayed here for a conference. Paid $85/night plus tax. My room (#916) was on the 9th floor, with a view of I-45 and direct, full-on, blinding morning sunlight. There were 10 floors in total; the top floor, though, is a club floor and required card access. The first night, I ordered room service. Big mistake. I ordered a grilled tuna... more

I decided to stay at this property after I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard next door on a previous visit. I'm glad I decided to try something different because I had a nice 4 day stay at this property. The room was nice, not the largest but nice. It was always clean and smelled fresh. I visited the free business... more

My family stayed in three different rooms while in town for a memorial service. My biggest complaint has to do with the pile of vomit directly outside my room (for the record, not mine) my sister discovered about 9 a.m. I let the concierge know on our way to breakfast, but it was still there when we had finished. I... more

This hotel did not live up to the Courtyard brand standard. This property looks to have been renovated from a super 8 or something along those lines. The room and bathroom were extremely small and cramped. No wireless internet was available, I had to use an ethernet cord. The hallways were narrow and dark. This hotel is in desperate need... more

Are you kidding! The lobby is nice looking, the rooms are remolded but NOT a true Marriot. Don't get me wrong, the front desk was so sorry about the roaches crawling on my room wall and the a/c did not go under 73 degrees. I hate to complain but there was a looked like dried boogies on the decor pillow.... more

Stayed here one night on May 2008. Room rate was $52 after bidding on PriceLine. Good bedding and linens. High end toiletries. Clean. Friendly Staff in all departments. Business Center only had one computer. Location is close to Hobby Airport and IH-45. But beware of neighborhood. Most businesses have security guards on site, some of which are armed. more

There are 4 hotels right together: Marriott, Courtyard, Drury and Spring Hill. Drury was sold out, so I booked here since my meeting was very close. Front desk staff, bellman/shuttle drivers, and especially the employee who runs the p.m. Concierge Lounge are fantastic! Room was comfortable and well designed. My concerns (addressed by manager): Housekeeping. I stayed here for 3... more

My husband had meetings at this property prior to our trip. They went well, so he felt confident about booking another stay, this time with family in tow. His confidence was justified: this is a very good hotel. They held our room despite our late arrival (we did call to make sure this would be all right, however.) We saw... more
