Checked in rather late at night (like 2:00 AM) after driving into town for a funeral. It's the only hotel that has a room available for less than $150. I should have known there was a problem when it was only $59, but I figured since it was the last room, they were offering a special on it.

The guy at the checkin booth took his time processing the check-in. I asked if he could make sure my rewards card was noted on the reservation and he said okay. A few quiet minutes later, he was still staring at the screen. I asked if there was a problem, he said no and printed out a receipt for me to sign. I asked again about the rewards card (he never asked for it, so he couldn't have added it), and he said I would have to call. Fine.

I find my room, walk in, close the door and the door barely shuts or locks. Someone could barely push the door and it would open. At this point, I am tired and since it's literally the last room they had, I wasn't going to get another... more
