Recently finished a 4 night stay at Hilton Americas Houston. This is a nice property, somewhere in a 3 to 3/12 star/diamod rating. I try to keep my reviews limited to the property in question, not the weather and other non essential matters. Check in was flawless and quick. The front desk was staffed with several clerks. This is a... more

Stayed here for a conference for 4 nights. I thought this was the nicest chain hotel I had stayed in in ages, and very reasonably priced as well. The foyer is attractive, as is the bar area. The breakfast buffet was $17 which included all the coffee and jucie you could drink I thought was pretty reasonable for a hotel... more

This Hotel is very nice, full of luxury. I did drop an earring on the floor and moved a chair over a bit and a green english pea rolled out....so apparentley the rooms are not fully cleaned. Interesting enough the front desk guy was VERY RUDE, pretentious and uninterested. Last weekend I stayed at the Drury in the Woodlands and... more

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It was clean, my top priority. The staff were all very friendly, with the exception of one concierge who could have been more open rather than the "yes/no" answers we received. We even had to call security to open our safe, and the security guy was so incredibly nice. The pool... more

I stayed at the hotel while in town for a convention. The room was surprisingly large and was even very quiet for a hotel room. I experienced a few minor issues during my stay. 1. The conference Web site indicated that it was free to work out in the fitness center if you were a Hilton Honors Member. So upon... more

Incompetent management and rude staff. This place is overpriced and simply not worth it. I would rather spend my money elsewhere and actually enjoy it. A 40-dollar omelet should be a killer, right? Well, not at this hotel. I've received better service AND better food at Holiday Inn. more

I attended show at the convention center and stayed here for a few nights. It's a very nice hotel. Rooms are large and modern and the staff has been well trained in all things courtesy. It just feels enormous, which it is at 1,200 rooms! Still, a solid choice in Houston. more

I have stayed here a few times and been happy with most things: - The rooms are modern and comfortable - The staff are helpful enough - The food is good enough Generally everything works and you get what you need. Downside is that the hotel is large and has a bit of a "railway station" feel to it, especially... more

My stay at the Hilton Americas in downtown Houston was fantastic!! The staff was friendly, the room was immaculate and fantastic. I got a 20th floor view of downtown. The health club was awesome -- the top floor lap pool was great - as was the steam sauna. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in downtown Houston. more

Despite the extra charges for this and that, we stay here strictly for one reason only - the convenience to the convention center. If you book here, try to get the best rate on the website and just realize that you are mostly paying for the location. The rooms are nice and clean, but there are no extra perks with... more
