This hotel has some negative comments with regards to its “corporate-style” and lack of charm. Comfy bed, clean room, good service...but: the room has the aesthetics of a corporate conference room -- lots of dark wood, flourescent lamps, etc. Oh, and Marriott? This is by far the best Courtyard hotel any one can ever choose to stay in. The staff there is unbelievably talented, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I heard, and actually read on here, about people complaining about the price being "too high for a Courtyard". Are you kidding me?? Nice hotel, but there was a cupboard where you expected a fridge to be...a hotel of this calibre should have a fridge. Room was otherwise clean, spacious had a couch and bed, modern. I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Houston on business in February 2009. I have previously stayed at Marriott Hotels on business and always enjoyed great service and facilities. My room was very clean and kept that way during my 5 night stay. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I will definetly stay here again when visiting Houston. more

From check-in through check-out, service is exceptional at this Courtyard. The staff was always friendly and willing to help with any needs. The rooms and furniture are very modern and stylishly decorated (the best I've seen compared to other Courtyards). I had a very comfortable stay while on business here and would highly recommend this Courtyard. more
