We found the J. W. Marriott a very pleasant stay. Room was spacious and in good order. Service was very good. Hotel is convenient to the Galleria and many other things in the area and access was better than I expected being there on Westheimer. The one complaint I would have is being in a room adjacent to the elevators. more

I come shopping at the Houston Galleria a couple of times per year. Last year end, the Westin Galleria gave me the worst room in the hotel. The lobby is small and somewhat confusing, as others have said. The parking garage is same - VERY small and cramped and confusing to get into and out of. This hotel is OK. The location can't be beat if you want to be close to the Galleria for evening eats and shopping after work. However, it is an older building and is somewhat cramped.
