First the positive comments--good location, front desk workers were very personable. Now the rest--my room was filthy. Even after the cleaning person finished there were lint, paper, and piled up dust in every corner. The bathroom and dressing area had what looked like chunks of dirt on the floor. Located on the side of a freeway, this hotel features beds as hard as rocks, non-smoking rooms that reek of smoke, and no maid service. That's right -- they'll clean the rooms after you leave, but until then you're on your own. Hard to believe La Quinta would put its brand on this place. more

We stayed here recently for one night to be near the Medical Center, as a relative was hospitalized. The staff was friendly and efficient, and there is a shuttle to the Medical Center on weekdays.
