We had such a memorable time! We have 4 young girls & they had a blast feeding the animals, fishing, playing at the playground & tree house, & just exploring the property. The owner was very helpful & kind. If you want to slow life down and reconnect with your family in a warm & enviting atmosphere, this is your... More

This was our third trip to Roddy Tree. Looking forward to many more visits. The house we stayed in needed some repairs and a fresh coat of paint but the hill country views made up for that. More

Great spot for seclusion. Every cabin is different. Ours was very clean and cozy. Loved canoeing and the grounds on the Guadalupe. Loved that there was a music venue on the property and had a great time Saturday night during the very entertaining live music. More

Very quaint, very clean. We loved watching the deer stroll through the grounds. The park by the Guadalupe river was nice. We will have to come back in the summer to enjoy the pools. The live music and cajun food was excellent. More

My family and I had a wonderful time at Roddy Tree. I wish we had another couple of days to enjoy all the extras. The homes were cozy and clean and I loved having everything we needed there and not having to pack everything. My 3 year old and 9 year old had a great time swimming, canoeing, and just... More

We stayed for a week. No room service to clean or straighten up. Felt like bugs were crawling all over me while in bed. We would have left, but would have forfeited prepaid fees. A notice on a lamp stated 'not to remove or tamper with lamp..insurance carrier required lamp to be functional.' Note stated there would be a large... More

I will address each point in this review. First of all we are not a hotel. We do not offer cleaning services on a daily basis. If this person wanted room service daily they should have stayed in a hotel. The comment about the lamp kind of tells it all. These are tags that are by law placed on all... More

This is a beautiful ranch that needs a little attention to detail. It has such a variety of things for the children to do--fishing pond, pools, etc.. We probably won't stay again, though, because our cabin just wasn't as clean as we're used to. The sheets and towels were clean, but the furniture and dining chair seat cushions were badly... More

Staff/Management we encountered were very nice and fine...The property was cozy and relaxing...Sat. evening entertainment was wonderful. The pools were clean and nice! Our cabin was cozy and rustic....HOWEVER we did not sit on the living room furniture without blankets on top because they were dirty. The sofa had very large and visible stains all over. Not appealing in the... More

This was our third annual trip to Roddy Tree for Spring Break and it was looking good! The pools were spotless and clear; although it was a bit chilly, several families were swimming. The basketball court - a big draw for my boys - was clean as usual, and they got new basketballs, which was nice. Our cabin was clean... More

I told the receptionist at Roddy Tree Ranch that we would be driving in from Dallas and would be arriving late. When we got there, a key was in the box along with a map that was so old and worn out that it was illegble. The cabins are stread out over the ranch and there are no road markings.... More
