this place was scary as. theres the tiny hostel that nobody stays in (not even the owner) and it looks like they unboarded a deserted house and put some beds in it. accross the street is a gas station and thats it for miles. you can walk to the train station but its still a 15min walk. i would recommend... more

A hostel is a hostel. But the good atmosphere and the cool people I met (both the staff and the guests) gave me good memories of Dallas. Oh yes, Ivan is a wonderful person who manages to make you feel at home whether you are from the West or the East. A good place to stop at when in Dallas.... more

I actually loved this place... We arrived by greyhound bus in Dallas and got a taxi, on the way I was thinking 'oh my god it's miles from anywhere' but it's kind of ideal....no it's not in Dallas or Fort Worth but it was right in the middle with a train station literally round the corner...whic hgoes to both Dallas... more

We managed to find our way to the Irving Backpackers Hostel from Dallas Fort Worth Airport without any problems. You get the free shuttle to the Remote Parking South and then shuttle to the train station. You have to buy your ticket before boarding the train. Got off at South Irving train station and the hostel was 12-15 mins walk,... more
