I stayed at this motel because my son requested staying at the hotel by the Hot Biscuit. The local eatery is a favorite pit stop for long road trips, but we'll keep driving in the future. Room was not very clean. Blankets looked worse than the ones I use for my dog. Some items appear to have been stolen from my room. Desk clerk was not very friendly, and the noise from the on-site bar was annoying. In all, the experience fell far short of the $80 price tag. The Best Western in nearby Palestine is a better bet.

On a bright note, the pool is landscaped nicely and the food was great.
