The room was the last available room around. Should have known to run as soon as we pulled up but gave it a shot. This is the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in by far! Motel 6 blows this place away. Floors were uneven, bathtub covered with mold and mattress was old with springs. The Fire Alarm system is inspected by liscensed inspectors through the State Fire Marshall's office. They are installed and fucntioning properly. I double checked the system today and it is working properly. I am not aware of any electrical receptacles that have wires only. This has a potential to be a safety hazzard and will be investigated immedately.

The most horrific motel we have ever stayed at. To make it worse we were price gauged and had to pay $149 for a motel that normally costs $59!!! The property is not dirty! We are in progress of some property rennovations. We are about 50-60% complete at this time. Carpets have been replaced! On entering the room we were met with a nasty smell. I'm guessing mildew and smoke. Properties are visited and scored twice per year by the quality assurance auditors and this facility scores well on each standard. Rooms have reccently been rennovated and painted. Most rooms were painted during the month of May and some rooms were finished in June.
I don't believe i have ever stayed a nastier place than the Passport Inn . If we can't find anything better than this , we wil not come back to Kemah. I understand that the Hurricaine did alot of damage in this area, but, give us a break. Don't charge $ 200.oo a night for a $50.00 dollar a night... more
The hotel is being renovated. We are working on painting the guest rooms at this time. Furniture has been replaced in all guest rooms to include granite topped writing desks, a plush sofa chair, and cherrywood accented case goods. Irons and Blow dryers are available upon reuest.
