This B&B is a great getaway from the big city. The Texas sky is never bigger or brighter than in the Texas Hill Country. This stay the full moon was as bright as a street lamp. We had three rooms for our family to celebrate our parents 50th anniversary. Everything was just right. The rooms are so special and comfortable, and our parents felt very pampered in their suite! Dinner was simply amazing--extremely high quality all the way around. One of the best duck preparations I've ever had! more
I live a mile away from the Inn. I love to go there because it's surrounded by a nature preserve and It feels so secluded, even though Austin is only about 40 minutes away. A lovely spot and a great staff. Definitely a place to visit. For special occasions they serve fabulous wines and their meals are wonderful. more
I was the only guest by himself that time, and I made the most of my night stay. I took a walk, did some yoga, had a great short rib dinner, played the didgeridoo, read some, wrote some, took a long bath. Woke up before dawn, had coffee, read some, walked some, ate breakfast. Food: Gourmet! The best fish I've ever tasted. My wife doesn't eat fish, but even she loved it! Breakfast was hot & yummy. Hays Room: HUGE bathtub & shower! Bed & furniture was very comfortable. This was not our first time to the inn. We decided to get away for our anniversary- we came back reconnected and relaxed. The rooms are wonderful, beds very comfortable. Food is absolutely fabulous! We always woke up in time for breakfast (you can always go back to bed afterwards, right?) We will definitely be going again. more
We visited the Inn for little sisters birthday celebration, and it was a great weekend! We stayed in the Toalson room with five adults in the party.
