The pics of this place are deceiving. We arrived, were told the restaurant/cafe had been closed for 2 yrs but the sign company hasn't taken the signs down and got our room. Our room smelled weird. Wasn't a cleaning odor. The room was old, the furniture was filthy and the room was not vacuumed. Needless to say, we checked in... more

We booked the Lake Livingston inn because the web-site photos were good and we didn't have a whole lot of choice. When we arrived I knew we were in trouble when upon check-in we were given our remote for the TV and one key. There were children standing in the lobby dripping wet from the pool.
