I just checked out of this hotel. It is set back from I-20 in a safe, surprisingly quiet area of Longview near several gas stations and fast food restaurants. The building and grounds are clean and well lit, and there is plenty of parking. The lobby area is basic, but clean and well laid out, with the continental breakfast bar in one corner along with a few tables. The breakfast area is really small, although for the two nights I stayed here, it was never crowded. There is an outdoor pool on the wooded side of the hotel, which looked like a relatively nice place to cool off on a warm day.

Check-in was quick and done by a helpful and friendly employee who was very knowledgeable about priceline.com and how this hotel uses it to fill up its empty rooms (I used priceline's name your price service and saved about $20 as compared to the best rate on the MicroTel website). Within a few minutes I had my key to a second floor room with one queen sized bed.
