“Horrible Customer Service and Dirty Hotel”

Checked in on June 4. Room hadn't been serviced, dirty sheets, used toiletries, etc. Called down to front desk and they sent up someone who came to our door with clean sheets, new soap, etc. and he just dropped them off and left. I traveled to Lubbock for a meeting at Texas Tech, having never visited Lubbock before and never having stayed at a Hawthorn Suites. Your feedback is very much appreciated. The day you are referring to was the huge storm that took over Lubbock on June 6, 2013. The weather forecasted multiple possible tornado warnings, damaging winds of up to 85 miles per hour, and damaging hail. I am a doctoral student at Texas Tech and have to come in monthly for class. This hotel was very close to campus, clean, with a good hot shower and a comfortable bed which are my main requirements!!!.
