“Clean and friendly”

Nicest motel in Lufkin. Modern lobby, clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Big flat screen TV, Refrigerator and Microwave were nice pluses. No breakfast include with the room when most other small hotels include breakfast. The location is central, but requires U-turns to reach the location from Houston. Thanks so much for your review. We were one of the first Courtyards to open with this new, modern lobby...we love the feel and look of the rooms and lobby too! We do have our Bistro Restaurant available. While not complimentary as you stated, it does have several healthy breakfast options from between $8-12 per person. More

The staff at this hotel is fantastic! We travel a lot and this is one of the friendliest places we have been. “An extra effort”

I had a last minute schedule change and could not get the state rate at the Lufkin property. I called and the young lady (name withheld for her privacy) took the extra effort to check with the management team, and secured a room for me for the night. Everything was nice and clean, but my husband and I were climbing over each other because of room layout! We had a King and the actual size of bedroom area was about 12X14. Thank you for giving Courtyard Lufkin your review. We do have two different King Rooms that have a longer hallway than the others which makes that room slightly smaller than the others. WE were one of the first of 10 of Courtyards built with the newer Courtyard Concept and little things like this were learning lessons for the Marriott Brand.... More

I enjoyed this hotel so much I wish I could stay a week. The outside courtyard and firepit was so relaxing and I loved the bristo. Great atmosphere. “Solid 3 Year Old Courtyard”

This is still a relatively youthful Courtyard, but they keep it in such good shape I thought it was brand new. The staff was universally helpful. The gym was well maintain, but it looked like the indoor pool was closed for some reason. Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner was a nice perk. Would certainly stay here again.
