We arrived at Captain Shepard's at 7PM only to find it completely locked up with no lights on and no one in sight. Beautiful old inn. Very quiet and comfortable. Neat antiques and decor but not overwhelming or cutesy. You can walk to everything from here in this small town - breakfast, cafes, galleries, the post office. Spectacular drive or long bike ride to the entrance of Big Bend National Park. more
This is a beautiful home located in a very quiet neighborhood in Marathon, TX. We stayed with one other couple in the Carriage House. This was such a relaxing stay.
