Stayed here for one night in January, '08. Check in was horrendous. Arrived around 4pm, front desk clerk was completely uninformed about maintenance issues at hotel. This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The carpet is fadded and old. Everything is dirty. The bath tub the shower the bedspread and the pillows. I booked this hotel based on hotels.com three-star rating. This is no three-star hotel. Maybe a one. The hotel is old and directly in the path of the McAllen runway.
