The staff at this hotel was very friendly especially Jamie the manager who booked rooms for me several weeks when they were supposedly sold out. The rooms were nicely decorated, good beds, curved shower rods and two TV's. I loved the large assortment of TV channels available since I was in McAllen for business and didn't stay out late. The Marriott Residence Inn had several problems during our month long stay. The treadmill was broken. Our television broke 2 days after our arrival. Most importantly, the Residence Inn lost our items. We checked out Saturday evening and left approx 18 new, unused items in the kitchen cabinet--gourmet foods, specialty items, health foods, and spices. We called 2 hours after... more
