We have always stayed at Best Western Rose Garden Inn in McAllen, Tx. We had never experienced such a HORRIBLE stay before. The room was very HOT. the room was very clean and comfortable---convenient location, and friendly staff. however, avoid the free breakfast. it was cold scrambled eggs, half-cooked beans (how do you mess up "refritos"), and tough tortillas. hard biscuits, and cold pancakes. i guess you get what you pay for!! aside from the nasty breakfast, the accommodations were great! just go somewhere else for breakfast!!... more
I stayed at the Best Western Rose Garden for a weekend and it was a very pleaseant experience. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance for shopping centers and restaurants. I didn't have to worry about finding a parking space, we left the car at the hotel and enjoy walking and shopping... They offer a tasty tex-mex breakfast... more
This is a very comfortable hotel, with a great location near the expressway. The staff is friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to help you. The pool is quite small, but cleaned daily. Ask for a suite, and get a separate living room, refridgerator, and wet bar. more
