The rooms are clean and of average quality. That's more or less the only positive thing I can say about the Emmantina hotel. The hotel is directly located at a highway. In order to reach the hotel from the tram or bus stop, you will have to walk a pavement along the highway, which is partially blocked by parking cars.... more

Wonderful staff and service. Hotel is very clean and welcoming, food and service is excellent. Only thing missing was a kettle and coffee/tea in the room, room service must be called for this. Other than that, loved it and will go back. more

We stayed at the Emmantina for three nights for a conference. The hotel is reachable from central Athens by bus or tram in about 45 minutes. The bus to Athens stops about 50 yards from the hotel, but coming from Athens it stops on a parallel street from which one cannot see the Emmantina, so you have to watch out... more

We stayed at this hotel because we thought it would be close to the airport which it was BUT. They failed to tell us the shuttle bus didn't run on weekends & when it does run it doesn't start until 8:00 AM. we were told the cab fare would be $25 but found out later that because we left at... more

I had 3 teenage boys who thought the chicken dodging was great !!! They were very good and kind staff and after a sleepless night moved rooms to the back of the hotel which was great .........great value and access to sights cost us one euro each to get to see the acropolis and a 40 min air conditioned metro... more

The Emmantina Hotel has plenty of roles to play. Its location may initially give one the impression that it is a holiday resort. Having read the reviews of other visitors to the hotel, I need to stress that when one visits this specific hotel they need to understand that they will be located near the centre of Glyfada. Glyfada is... more

This was a nice hotel, with a good sized room and good breakfast... but all of that is irrelevant because it's RIGHT NEXT TO the world's busiest motorway! Getting to and from the hotel is a real issue, with a badly maintained pavement which often has cars parkd on it. That means you have to take your life in your... more

We were booked to stay for three nights for a wedding nearby. There were a catalogue of problems starting with the much mentioned highway. We tried to ignore the noise and settle in but we were given a disgusting smoke stained room without air conditioning forcing us to open the windows and thus be exposed to the noise. When we... more

I read a few reviews about this hotel and many of them mentioned the 6 lane highway outside the front door. If only they could dismantle the hotel brick by brick and rebuild it the other side (beach side) of the road. It ruins what is an excellent hotel. However, last year (2008), the road authority installed a pedestrian crossing... more
