I read a few reviews about this hotel and many of them mentioned the 6 lane highway outside the front door. If only they could dismantle the hotel brick by brick and rebuild it the other side (beach side) of the road. It ruins what is an excellent hotel. However, last year (2008), the road authority installed a pedestrian crossing... more

We stayed for just 24 hours in early May, because our connecting flight was cancelled. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed; the staff were courteous, and the roof terrace with small pool was pleasant, but suffered a lot from traffic noise. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and close to public transport to... more

My friends and I wanted a mini break over the Easter weekend. Glyfada looked perfect as weather should be good in April and it was close enough to Athens to get in some culture too. One of the main reasons we chose Emmantina was for their roof top terrace (the beach is NOT somewhere you can go and relax at).... more

We spent a week in August at the Emmantina hotel. And although the rooms were clean and overall comfortable, we would not recommend this hotel to other tourists. The major problem we have encountered was dealing with the hotel staff, They were not friendly and not helpful. No matter what you asked them regarding directions to a place, a restaurant... more

We have stayed at the Emmantina on a regular basis over the years. Although the star rating system may be subjective, I would rate it a 3 star by North American standards. However, it is good value for the money, as it provides a free shuttle from the Airport, and for a minimal fee, will also take you back. Furthermore,the... more

Before going to Greece, one has to have in mind that luxury is pricey, and that a 4 stars hotel is far from it. Emmantina is a fine hotel: rooms are decent (though small), it's relatively clean, the pool is small but ok, and the terrace is nice (despite the noise coming from the highway next to the hotel). But... more

The Emmantina Hotel is located about 45 minutes to the south of Athens airport on the coastal highway that runs to Piraeus. We arrived after midnight and were assigned a room with a nonsmoking room in the middle of the hotel's smoking section. The result was that the place reeked of smoke due to the nature of the hotel's ventilation... more

This hotel offers free airport pick up which was a plus in our book. We had to call the hotel three times to tell them about airport delays out of Rome. We arrived in Athens at 7:00pm and the shuttle was waiting for us. After checking into the hotel, the desk clerk asked what our plans were the next day.... more

The people who sit at reception are rude. So you are for a small shock initially. If you are staying for more days, get used to the exactly the same breakfast and the very limited spread. Otherwise the room service was friendly, the room were small but clean and the bathrooms were also clean. (the bath tub is good for... more

Good hotel, clean, good bathroom, although may be a little outdated. Great location, close to tram to get to central Athens other areas on the coast, and to shopping centres, only 5 minutes walk from pebble beach and 10mins from cafes and restaurants. more
