Booked for four nights and stayed for one! Having just spent 3 nights at the parador at Gredos which was 15 euros a night cheaper and superb in all respects, we could not believe how spartan the room was. Finca Santa Marta offers a relaxed environment in which to enjoy this beautiful part of Spain. The rooms are quite small but comfortable with plenty of common areas in which to read and relax. While the rooms are not luxurious (our bed was a bit too worn), we really enjoyed our stay at Finca Santa Marta. Our host, Mathieu, could not have been more friendly or helpful. But, on arrival, after a long drive, the hotel was unable to offer us dinner - no explanation, or apology was offered - and I don't think we were the only guests this happened to during the week.
