We stayed here for one night and chose it mainly because of its proximity and ease of access to Strasbourg Airport.
The main part of the establishment is old and traditional but the hotel annexe is modern and the top floor a very recent add-on. The superior room on the top floor where we stayed was beautifully clean and roomy and had a giant double bed and Canal + TV. The bathroom was bright and modern with a very powerful shower and the small toilet was adequate. At 75 Euros a night it was a bargain.
We were concerned to note that the town clock was only a few metres away from the double-glazed window and feared the worst but fortunately it was turned off at 11pm - so many of these Alsatian towns,e.g. Obernai, have very loud clocks which ring out every quarter hour and continue all night, so beware!
The hotel provides meals in its traditional restaurant and the food is reasonable and delicious with a wide variety of choice and prices.
