It was another wonderful trip to the Hilltop Motel! Clean rooms, plenty of space, etc. However, there was one difference: For the first time in 15 years we were not greeted by a "No Vacancy" Sign. I do have the answer to this problem though. If you put the first two solutions listed below, on the Hilltop sign, in no time, the improvements will pay for themselves.
1) Hilltop needs dependable WiFi for business people to check their emails.
2) Hilltop needs new 'firm' mattresses on each bed. These mattresses are 30 years old and it is clear that they are. Ours was broken, and that is not acceptable for any motel. With Walmart in Brady, they are easy to order, pay for and get delivered.
3) Hilltop needs new Showerheads. Nothing fancy, just the simple showerhead. The showerheads barely have any flow, and cleaning them is not the answer.
Maybe the owner will read this and make the necessary adjustments for the Hilltop to be competitive...
