Stayed at Hotel Explorers in Les Arcs 1600 for 2 nights for a weekend skiing trip travelling by rail from the UK. The resort is very simple to get to by train with direct trains from Paris and London (weekly). Simply catch the train to Bourg St Maurice, and catch the Funicular railway right into the resort (takes 5 minutes.)

We stayed at Hotel Explorers as it was one of the only hotels we could book on-line that would take bookings for less than a week in the high season.

If you are looking for a luxury hotel, go elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a clean, friendly 3 star hotel which is good value for money and close to the slopes, then this is worth considering.
