We had a three bed apartment for 3 single guys... The apartment was large and comfortable and you wouldnt wish for more. The apartment did take 6 but I think you would be a bit pushed for space unless some of the party were children. We used two bedrooms as they were large and used the other one for storage....

In Aime-la-Plagne for a ski weekend with friends and couldn't fault Les Hauts Bois - great service from the moment we arrived: friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. The rooms were comfortable and perfectly adequate (by ski hotel standards), and the facilities were nice (pool, sauna, etc.). Having breakfast (croissants, etc.) delivered to reception was a bonus.

Excellantly located hotel, where you can just walk onto the ski slope. nerby bars and restaurants. The room's are basic with self catering abilities, tv and balcony. The hotel has a swimming pool and pool tables so the kids are accomadated for.

The hotel is fantastically situated but previous comments have not been adequately addressed. On arrival (early on the Saturday) we asked for a room with a view, only to be told we had to reserve that "a few days before arrival", similarly ski hire is 30% cheaper if you do it via the internet before arrival. The apartments had great views of Mont Blanc and the sauna, swimming pool and steam rooms were great facilities - BUT - reception staff were exceptionally unhelpful, bedding was very tired (only one pillow each with hardly any stuffing). One very hard sofa in an apartment designed for up to eight people - not what you need at the end...
