Four of us stayed at le Hameau, St Jean D'arves in Jan 09.We had a two bed roomed apartment. When we first arrived we were very anxious about the location of the apartments, it seemed we were in the middle of no where. Most of the staff in reception did not speak good English, but knew enough to help us with the basics. The Apartments were more like log cabins, as we had a two bed roomed apartment we had the whole top floor of the cabin, with a big balcony with a beautiful view. The bedrooms are big enough for what you need, although they could do with more storage space/wardrobes. The bathroom is new spacious and clean. Has a bath and shower. Separate toilet. The lounge/dinner was very spacious, with a sofa/sofa bed and TV that only shows French programs, 6 seated table, and small basic kitchen. Consisting of x4 hobs, microwave/grill, kettle, coffee machine. There is a heated outside pool available to all residents, open from 16:00 to 19:00. This was very romantic as you could swim... more
