We arrive with snowcoach on 29th December. The rooms are basic but fine. The food was great and had plenty. More alcohol than anyone could manage provided if wanted. Staff were great. Very friendly and did their best with whatever issues we had. Location one of the best in the resort. I cant beleive the way some people have moaned... more

Just back from a fab 8 day ski trip to Valmeinier. Travelled with SnowCoach to Hotel L'Aigle from Watford. My first time going skiing by coach and have to say would do it again! Coach was comfy - they give you blankets and good leg room (my fiance is 6'3" and had no complaints). I would suggest you take a... more

Visited Valmeinier first week of Jan 2008. Travelled with Snowcoach. In concept a great idea - leave PM and arrive next day for start of skiing. Leave on last day after skiing has finished. In practice the journey out was awful, not helped by a diversion to Geneva to met another coach. Coach itself was OK but impossible to get... more

Valmeinier is a small french resort. This is for me a big plus but may not be for everyone. Stayed at L'Aigle twice. Basic but staff friendly and helpful. Especially nice to one of our party (10 yrs old) who spent most of the trip in the hotel with a broken arm. Downside was that the hotel was "taken over"... more

We stayed at the Hotel L'Aigle with Snowcoach. The hotel was very poor with the child care on offer a very low standard indeed. The food was poor and the security was terrible as we had our children's ski items stolen The ski school was very poor with a lack of communication to parents. Go somewhere else. more
