Very nice Hotel, very friendly and good service. Room very clean and smart.The food was very good and plenty of it with a wide variety to suite all tastes. WiFi is not free which really it should be now, you get free wifi in much cheaper hotels. Also some more English channels on the TV would be nice.

I stayed in the Mercure in Gerlingen for 4 days and must say I am very disappointed. The room althogh on a non smoking floor had been smoked in previously. Reservation process is not clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we choose to add breakfast and the system include it into total of bill, then they ask to pay breakfast again at check out. (This is not first time it happen, some issue last year in France, when I complain no response for it)

Very friendly staff from the restaurant to the front desk. The hotel has a nice little restaurant with a small menu. We had Pizzas and Salmon, both were good. Rooms are quite basic, nothing to write home about, but they are clean and the hotel offers free wifi, which is a bonus when roaming.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and found the reception staff very friendly and helpful - even printed a mapfrom the internet so we could find the Porsche Museum. Our room was on the back corner of the hotel and is a lot quieter than one on the front. Breakfast was its usual high standard.
