Set among the vineyards with beautiful views and good, local food. Helpful staff. Open air swimming pool within walking distance down the hill. Easy access to motorway network and old towns, as well as the Bergstrasse. We could hear some noise from the motorway at night with the window open but not at a level to be a nuisance and we didn't notice it during the day. Some of the rooms have balconies and lead straight out onto a lawn with a ping pong table, large slide (recommended for older children due to height and low sides), swing and plenty of space to run around. The only thing that lets this place down in our eyes is the fact that the rooms are very dated and although clean, feel worn and not somewhere we particularly wanted to hang out in. It was just as well the weather was good and we spent all our time outside, including eating on their terrace with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.
