I stayed in the hotel playa de oro for two weeks and found the hotel to be sub standared i found out that the hotel had been closed shortly before i arrived due to cleanleness issues, the hotel was out dated in apperience and facilties however the one good thing about the hotel was the air-con worked very well, more
Just got back from a week in Playa De Oro, we went Half Board which I am glad we didn't decide to go all inc. I arrived at 03.00am, there were five of us and apparently there were no 6 or 7 seat taxis available at that time of morning so we had to get 2 taxis. €29 each taxi.... more
The hotel is located in a quite part of Salou (on the border with Cap Salou). The rooms were very clean but very basic. The reception staff was friendly and helpful which is hard to say about the staff in the restaurant. The restaurant is dark and crowded. Every time we had to stay in the long queue in order... more
Just back from 2 weeks at Playa Park in Salou having saved quite a bit by booking it independantly. Got a taxi from the airport to the hotel for 28 euros. Found out from the hotel receptionist later that they should charge no more than 25 euros. I could have done it a lot cheaper by using the airport bus... more
