We were at the hotel for a week from 20th Sept and really enjoyed our stay and thought Salou was a really nice beach resort with a pretty promenade and lovely sandy beach. This is my third time to Salou and third time I have stayed at Californa Palace. It is clean, rooms cleaned daily, reception and dining room all clean and staff friendly. Couldn't fault hotel or staff or indeed the location. Food was always hot and well presented, however a bit repettitive. Drinks in hotel esp at meal times could be expensive. Stayed at the California Palace from end of August to mid September, after having read mixed reviews of this hotel we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff especially the waitresses who really took to our two year old granddaughter.
