I have just returned from spending a very enjoyable week in Salou. Myself, my parents and my 2 sisters stayed in a 2-bed apartment in the Ventura Park Apartments. The apartment was on the ground floor in Block B, it was very spacious and clean. Beds were made when we arrived. There was 2 bathrooms which was excellent. We had a kettle, washing machine, cooker, oven, iron, ironing board and fridge freezer. There was also a television but all spanish channels except for Euro Sport. We felt very safe and secure especially with lockable patio doors, shutters over these and then lockable grills outside these. The door to the apartment was also very secure with double locks.
However, one major drawback was that there is no reception or security in the apartment blocks. On arrival in Salou, we had to go to an office about 10 min walk away to get our keys and pay a deposit of €50 per adult. Safety deposit boxes are available but are held in this office not in the apartment...
