Stayed for 1 week in June 2009 in Koka Apartments .. there is loads of buildng work going on the complex .. there is a the sound of hammers knocking down walls at 9am in the morning. The Koka apartments are located in the center of Playa del ingles. The Metro, Kasbah and Plaza Shopping centers are right next door, so expect some noise at night. The Yumbo is about a 5min walk away. The one thing that I would say about going on holiday anywhere, but to Playa in particular, you get what you pay for.... more

Stayed in these apartments for 2 weeks. They're very basic but ok if you're after a low cost holiday. Pool very clean and food quite cheap and tasty at snack bar. stayed at koka for 2weeks, fabulous pool, spotlessly clean, yeah there were towel worshipers, but spot a hotel that you wont find this practice. pool snack bar good and reasonably cheap. reception staff not that good for communication skills. lobby bar was good, spent most early morning hours there, good guy in bar called allihandro, english poor but alkways smiling.... more

Myself and my friend stayed here for the first week of June. You will read some of the reviews below saying that these are basic. But OMG these are extremely basic. If you are travelling as a group of singles then this place would be a good bet, but if you are looking for a quiet couples holiday then avoid.... more
