i stayed with 9 other lads in 2 rooms. the hotel could be closer to the bars and the beach but is a good compramise, especially if you fancy a night in one night (which i didn't, but if you did). short walk to the bars or affordable taxi and good supermarkets nearby selling cheap booze for a pre night out drink. The guy behind the bar, alex is a legend. his measures are ridiculous (by which i mean good) when you go, ask for a drunken puppie at happy hour (4-5pm but if you make friends with alex he will extend it for you). don't listen to the bad reviews for this hotel, they are all made by people who want quiet all the time and brilliant food. also don't listen to the so called average prices in las americas.
