When i booked this hotel last year it was rated 5*. So i was very exited, until we got there. From the outside it looked old! Inside, the entrance was big with elevators with windows. The room was awfull small and old. The bathroom was small. On the terras we looked out on the pool with is a great view,... more

Stayed here in May 2009. Had a suite with pool view on 6th floor room 6003 - no plunge pool sadly :0( do remember though that the plunge pools are filled with cold water. Room was big - 2 bathrooms a livingroom, bedroom and double sized balcony. I would not consider the hotel to be 5 star hotel & if... more

Had a fantasitc stay in this hotel with my husband and son and would definately recommend it. Booked the room through bestratebeds.com who were very helpful and we paid a very good price for the quality of the hotel. We had a wonderful room overlooking the pools - which are extensive and fabulous. We stayed half board, which can be... more

This hotel is in a really lovely location. Across the street is some of the nicest shopping centres on the island and the restaurants are fantastic. What more could you want beach to the rear of the hotel and shops and restaurants to the front. We stayed in a mountain view room which was lovely. Don't think the pool view... more

Booked a week at The Med Palace from 24 Apr - 1st May for myself and my wife. Hotel exterior is getting on a bit, which is apparent. Inside public areas are good and 4 lifts / 2 escalators available to access other floors. The room we had was a Suite on the 5th Floor (5086) which is a good... more

Third time in this hotel and I have stayed twice in the Cleopatra next door. (Part of the same resort called The Mare Nostrum Resort) Some would say the rooms are dated and I would not argue with that. Overall the staff, its position within the resort, closeness to bars, restaurants, shops and its proximity to the beach and beachfront walk... more

Me and 5 of my friends came to tenerife for 5 days and from the first night we got there our trip was ruined. Right when we got to the hotel we got a call from the reception saying that there are noise complaints, and have been since the night before (we were watching tv and sleeping and we had... more

Just returned from a week at the Med Palace with wife and two young children. Positive points: Excellent location with well kept beach and plenty of places to eat/shop right on doorstep. All staff very welcoming, friendly and well presented. Adjacent hotel (Cleopatra) has two swimming pools which were far less crowded and more child friendly. Breakfast buffet was extensive... more
