just returned from one week stay at the Vulcano. It was perfect. We travelled with another couple and could not fault this hotel. our rooms were next to each other on the first floor overlooking the pool and lovely well kept garden areas. The whole hotel is kept so clean and tidy, with towels and bedding changed regularly. The food on offer is excellent... more

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at the Vulcano. Unlike previous reviews, we found the food, both in for breakfast and evening meal plentiful, hot with various choices every day. My partner is a non vegetable eater and he managed to eat at least one thing different every evening we were there. The puddings were to die for, as was... more

I have been to the Vulcano Hotel many years before but my partner hadn't. At 47 she doesnt consider herself an OAP she did however enjoy the dancing. OK there were the shufflers but there were a few excellent DANCERS when we were there. There was a tango or two in with the waltzes and a few jives. So what... more

We booked this hotel months ago because of great reviews and reccommendations. We booked early because we wanted disabled facilities. On arrival after a long tiring journey we were told there was a problem and there was no room for us. Management made no attempt to find alternative arrangements in other hotels in the group, and we were not even... more

We booked through Portland and were asked to pay a supplement for our room, It wasn't until we arrived that we found we had a superior room. The next day we tried to find where the pool towels were and told they were kept at reception. We asked and was told that because we have a superior room towels and... more

We had a very bad experience when we visited hotel Vulcano in march 2008. We arrived with our two children at 3 am and the staff insisted that we had to pay for the two rooms at once. It took one hour with two sleeping children to finish the pay. Next morning when we arrived in the restaurent to have... more

The Vulcano is a very clean and friendly hotel. The staff are happy to help with a smile on their faces. We had a superior room so we had bath robes, slippers, a pool view and also pool towels for free. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day but i recommend that you ask for one far away from... more

We stayed in the Vulcano Hotel from March 14-21 2008. I ordered a spring card on line before I went which arrived within 5 days, this allowed me to sign for everything which gave us quite a good saving. We found it an excellent hotel, the staff were extremely pleasant with nothing being too much bother, the hotel had a... more
