Tropical Playa is a ordinary hotel not situated in best area of Playa De Las Americas. The rooms are ordinary and could have been cleaner. All in all our stay at the Tropical Playa was average. Let's start with the good points. We arrived at the hotel as a group of five, all being young men. However we are not a "rowdy" bunch, the reception staff were however noticably unfriendly in their manner with us as a group. We stayed at this hotel in April and were very pleasantly suprised at what we got for our money. We payed about £100 for our room for the week which is great value and works out about £15.00 per night per 2 people sharing.
