This hostelry has a great view of Rutland Water but a new property built nearby has obscured 50%-60% of the view previously available to guests. The terrace now looks mostly at a fence. Stayed overnight here as the restaurant reviews were reasonable, big mistake !. To begin with there was no tea tray in the room although they did bring a pot of tea on request but nothing for the morning.
